Claire & Trevor had a gorgeous wedding reception at Thanksgiving Point.
They had a delicious assortment of food including a waffle bar.
Trevor & Claire are huge Disney Fans so the wedding day couldn’t be complete without some Mickey Mouse cuff links.
The night ended with a huge bang when the surprise fireworks lit up the summer night sky.
It was a rainy Spring day when we did Claire & Trevor’s engagements at Thanksgiving Point. Thankfully the rain cleared and we got some amazing shots with rainbows even.
These Texans love their Utah Mountains. So when they were visiting Utah for the Fourth of July we seized the opportunity to make some beautiful photographs up Provo Canyon in the Rocky Mountains. The Alpine Loop has some gorgeous scenic spots.
Claire & Trevor had a beautiful wedding day at the LDS Mt Timpanogos Temple followed by a luncheon at Wadley Farms.
Mini-sessions are great for families with small children. I’m a mother to two small children myself so I know how hard it can be to wrangle them together. These cozy photos were taken in the Leavitt’s home. Laura and I were in the Arts together at University. She is now a talented UX designer. You can see her talent also in the decorations in her home. That colorful wall paper is such a fun accessory for this mini-session.
Amanda and Zach are a lovely couple who were sealed in The Provo City Center Temple. It was a warm and beautiful September day. Amanda wore her beautiful wedding gown to commemorate the event.
It was a pleasant and quiet evening at the Temple, which made it easier to get some nice shots with the water fountain.
These rosy, Spring Goddess Bridals were a collaborative effort that was recently featured on Utah Valley Bride!

I have wanted to do a session like this with the blossoms for quite a while so I am so happy that me and my styling partner Courtney (of Florivore Events) were able to put this together. It was one of those times when the weather was crazy and we had to reschedule, but everything came together at the last minute for these delightful photos.
These photos were taken at the orchard by the Provo Castle. The couch was rented from another photographer who had used it as a prop at her wedding. Very stylish! Courtney decorated it with a green garland.
Ok seriously look at these two. They are adorable couple. They were very fun to work with on this shoot.
Shelby did an excellent job on hair and make up. I always, always, always recommend brides get their hair and make up done professionally. It is so worth the investment. Make up artists know how to make you look great for photos and for your special day.
When Courtney showed up with this bouquet to the shoot I’m pretty sure my mouth dropped. She did such an amazing job on the flowers!
This dress is seriously stunning, with it’s sheer back and jewel details. The dress was for sale at Bridal Closet and is called the Kalisti by Maggie Sottero. Maggie Sottero has some really wonderful dresses for all types of brides.
Hans & Rachel’s wedding day was beautiful! It was a typical Utah spring day and was pouring rain, but right before the couple exited the rain stopped and the clouds parted–it was seriously incredible timing.
The couple was wed at The Provo City Center Temple. The grounds were gorgeous and it was a beautiful day for a wedding.
The groomsmen wore fun patterned ties!
These sparkling gold bridesmaid’s dresses are from Agnes & Dora. Loving the gold against the red brick of the temple. And the Bride’s bouquet is from Provo Floral!
Red hair with the red brick of The Provo City Center Temple? Yes please! What a gorgeous bride, am I right? You can see their Formal photos here. That session will tell you more about the Bride’s dress and stunning ring.
The spring flowers were out and perfect for photos!
The water fountain outside of The Provo City Center Temple is one of my favorite parts of the grounds there.
The fog was still lingering in the mountains for the shot below.
So happy for this beautiful couple! Congratulations Hans & Rachel!
Lindsey and Eric’s formals were taken in the Thanksgiving Point Gardens in Lehi. I loved photographing these two and walking around in the gorgeous scenery. If you haven’t had a chance to visit the Tulip Festival I highly recommend it. It makes for a gorgeous background and their pictures turned out to look like a fairy tale.
This dynamic duo are actually a success story from Tinder of all places! Eric sealed the deal by reenacting their first date and attending a comedy sketch where he ended up proposing to her on stage!
Lindsey’s lace dress is from Bridal Image in Bountiful. Eric’s stylish suit is from Combatgent. Her gorgeous bouquet was done by the talented Courtney at Florivore Events and her hair and make up was done by Samantha Bird Isom.
The train on Lindsey’s dress is stunning and her bouquet went really well with the spring blossoms. Spring is one of my favorite times of the year to shoot because of blossoms. It can also be tricky because of weather, but thankfully the storm cleared just in time for us to take these photos.
The night ended with one of the most gorgeous purple and pink sunsets. It was a really magical evening.
I wish the best to these two love birds! You can tell they are going to be very happy together.
Rachel & Hans formals were taken up Big Cottonwood Canyon. They were so fun and so natural together, and you could tell they are so excited to start their journey together. Rachel’s stunning dress is from Bridal Brilliance. The wind and her dress worked perfectly together in these photos! Hans’ suit is from Mens Warehouse and their flowers are from Provo Florist. Rachel’s ring was designed by Jose Casas.
Seriously, look at this gorgeous ring.
When I asked Hans if he could twirl Rachel, he lit up, and said, “Of course, I do that all the time!” it was adorable.
It was a pleasure taking Rachel & Hans formals. Stay posted for their wedding day photos!
